Seven Deadly Sins
"I joined the Honors College as a junior in Spring 2016. My first Honors Course was one titled "7 Deadly Sins". This course reflected on the establishment of the seven deadly sins and how religious and historical illustrations shaped them. It helped identify the deadliest of sins, the difference between warm and cold blooded sins, and which sins we consider to be the deadliest."-Dionne Grundy
Topics touched upon in the course include the following:
Avoid sloth, bad company, dangerous conversations, and games; remembering that time passes and never returns, that you have a soul, and that if you lose your soul, you lose all." - St. Leonard-Port Maurice |
